Ep. 704 – Roasted Garlic and Blood vs The World Session Twenty Two (A D&D Actual Play)

Roasted Garlic and Blood vs The World! We’ve back with the first episode of the end game run of our 5e Scott Pilgrim inspired game. The band hit the ground running by taking a short rest in the Turtle Van and planning their attack and defense against the forces circling in on the Irvin Cobb Hotel. So this episode has it all – a large black wolf, a vampire zombie older brother, the reveal of where all the blight goo is coming from, the reveal of Mr. London’s anchor, a blend of Bluegrass and Meringue, and a fight around a dogwood tree blessed by the ghost of the man who hosted the 7th Academy Awards. So please, come sit awhile and listen to Roasted Garlic and Blood vs The World!

Ep. 703 – Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings

“Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings”, said the Randomizer, cold and indifferent as always. “Would you punish us so harshly for playing Dungeons & Dragons sometimes?” Ian snarked. The Randomized smiled it’s blackened grin in return. “Go and embrace the controversial torch mascot from the 1996 games in Atlanta, my friends. May its slippery and everchanging form be of comfort to you all on your journey.”

Yep, it’s that sort of game. But we get to talk anime, movies, and discuss what our last meals would be, at least. Come sit awhile and listen, Derek. To this, our dark episode of Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings.

Ep. 702 – Speed Racer in My Most Dangerous Adventures

Speed Racer in My Most Dangerous Adventures! No Scott Pilgrim this week so we go back to the ever full well of The Randomizer – and it spit out Speed Racer. Remember that resurgence of Speed Racer in the 90s? Well, it’s here in FULL force today. It has been a minute since we have done a video game episode so we have plenty of movies and anime to go over with Ian, some great Fortnite talk with Dave, and a lack of a tooth from Tyler. We even take a good ol’ quiz from Ross Rachel Green. But we also have plenty of Speed Racer talk, not just the game but we cover the show as well. We didn’t watch the movie but we totally thought about it. Sit awhile and listen! Speed Racer in My Most Dangerous Adventures!

Chad CROWger vs. The World! The band is back, this time in Chad CROWger form! They have plenty to do to get ready for the second night of the festival, then some heavy things to do at that festival. The band gets together and goes to Las Vegas to see Dane’s mom (they also get some news on Dane himself). What they find out there leads them to St. Louis to find out something EVEN BIGGER, but that will have to wait – the band needs to be there to try and save Liz’s mom during this exchange. But wait, there’s more! Sit awhile and listen to the tale of the Black Wolf vs Chad CROWger vs The World!
