Ep. 556 – Ren & Stimpy SNES Games

Tyler and Dave loved Nicktoons growing up. Doug, Rugrats, Rocko’s Modern Life — and one more that the Randomizer had to ruin for us, Ren & Stimpy. So the Randomizer dealt us Ren & Stimpy: Fire Dogs for the SNES. But we decided to finish off the whole series and throw in Time Warp, Veediots, and Buckroo$ just to torture ourselves. We hope you enjoy our pain but we also do a deep dive into the good and bad history of Ren & Stimpy (along with it’s creator, John K.) There is plenty of nostalgia to soak in, along with the cringe of how awful John K is.

Ep. 543 – Prehistorik Man

“You may have a single boon. What do you wish?” bellowed the Randomizer. “Ryan.” Tyler said, “I want my brother back.” The Randomizer narrowed it’s eyes and creaked a wry smile. “SO BE IT!”, the Randomizer exclaimed as it faded from view, leaving a single SNES cartridge where it once stood. Prehistorik Man! The platformer made by Titus back in 95 is what we are covering today, Ryan Holland reappears after a long hiatus as he and Tyler have a childhood history with this game. But that’s not all they cover, they talk girlfriend similarities, if you have to shave or not for certain activities, and serial killer Bob Berdella. Enjoy!

I know we ask you so much every week but we have been so so so good this week and we promise to keep being so good if you would do me this one favor. When we record it’s going to be Dave’s birthday. He is just the best spicy boi and deserves so much on his special 38th birthday. He really loves Pac-Man! So if you could please give us a Pac-Man game that is not a reskin of another game, we would love it so much! Could it not have horrible music?
