Ep. 690 – The Irem Skins Game

The Irem Skins Game is totally a golf game and not something else, we were also very confused when we heard the title. Not many games have the developer and a mode as their title (which irem loves their name so much it is on the box art twice) so it sounds a bit odd. But hey! Golf game? Have we done a pure golf game before? You’d be surprised. Come hear us do a sandwich draft, open a wonderful package, talk horror, talk food, and talk a great deal about The Irem Skins Game.

Ep. 686 – The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz for the SNES continues our parade of hard to play games. Does this deserve to be one those iconically horrible games ranking up there with Shaq Fu, Bebe’s Kids, Lester the Unlikely, Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball, and Pit Fighter? We might tell you. Or we might even debate that amongst ourselves. But before that, we have to do a soda draft. Followed up by some horror chat, some great restaurants in the L.A. area where Dave got to visit, and Dane’s quiz returns with a vengeance. This SNES game covered all three movies of the original trilogy, so to fully understand everything that goes into this game – we had to watch all the movies and talk about them at length THEN roll into deep game talk over all the levels for three movies.
