Ep. 688 – GunForce

GunForce?! MORE LIKE FUNFORCE (trademark of Dave Moore) AMIRITE?!?!?! I would highly advise you listen and find out for certain, I mean look at that box art! And everyone has heard all about this SNES port of the GunForce arcade! We also talk about Halloween, the latest edition of “Ian’s Horror Hole” (Not trademarked, public domain), some anime recommendations, some Seinfeld references, and a very special quiz by one Mr. Puzzles Dane. Please sit awhile and listen.

Ep. 686 – The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz for the SNES continues our parade of hard to play games. Does this deserve to be one those iconically horrible games ranking up there with Shaq Fu, Bebe’s Kids, Lester the Unlikely, Bill Laimbeer’s Combat Basketball, and Pit Fighter? We might tell you. Or we might even debate that amongst ourselves. But before that, we have to do a soda draft. Followed up by some horror chat, some great restaurants in the L.A. area where Dave got to visit, and Dane’s quiz returns with a vengeance. Come sit awhile and listen to use review the validity of the hot garbage label on The Wizard of Oz.

Ep. 685 – Terminator 2: Judgment Day & T2: The Arcade Game

The Randomizer served some BAD, emphasis on that syllable, to the bone games in Terminator 2: Judgment Day and T2: The Arcade game to us this week. Ian takes Tyler’s weathered old mantle as the Cloud of Negativity when it comes to there two LJN classics. So come listen to us double on the Terminator games, we do another draft (hey, we like these a lot), talking some horror movies, talk some Overwatch 2, and get a gander at Dave’s Steam Deck. Come sit awhile and listen to us really bemoan Terminator 2: Judgment Day & T2: The Arcade Game!

Ep. 683 – Fighter’s History

Fighter’s History, fresh today, courtesy Nintendo Switch Online’s Super Nintendo platform. What do you think when you see the box art? A little creeped out? Wondering if these are Street Fighter knockoffs so blatant they must be illegal? WRONG! They are very legal very blatant Street Fight knockoffs according to a court of law and we certainly get into it. We talk Funko pops, horror movies, Multiversus, and Pokemon Go. So come sit awhile and listen to a review and history lesson over Fighter’s History!

Ep. 682 – Incredible Crash Dummies

Incredible Crash Dummies. You read that correctly, not the Incredible Crash TEST Dummies (don’t worry, we explain why you may remember that extra word there). Join us as we journey down the road from PSA, to cartoon, to toys, and finally to video games for the Incredible Crash Dummies. We stop off in order to do an NBA style draft of chocolate based candies. Corey Feldman is discussed at length – some movies, his voice acting, more about Ian’s curiosity if Corey Feldman could have pulled off Indiana Jones, and his wide catalog of music. We swoon over The Kids in the Hall, discuss the estate of Casey Kasem and finally summon the Randomizer for what game we will play next. Come sit awhile and listen!

Ep. 681 – Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures

The time has come, after all that edge talk we have arrived at Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures. This SNES game covered all three movies of the original trilogy, so to fully understand everything that goes into this game – we had to watch all the movies and talk about them at length THEN roll into deep game talk over all the levels for three movies. There is plenty of movie talk and plenty of game talk on this one. So much so that we don’t get to all our normal segments. So if you like Indiana Jones then this is absolutely the episode for you. Sit awhile and listen! Indiana Jones; Greatest Adventures!

Ep. 665 – P3 vs. The World – Session Nine (A D&D Actual Play)

P3 vs. The World – Session Nine (A D&D Actual Play) is here at last after our long remote recorded break. Our brave band heroes now sit in the Irvin Cobb hotel, having just summoned in some much needed support. So please come hear about how that help adjusts to life in 2000 Paducah, KY. Maybe a trip to Wal-Mart. Even a little adventure to Steak N’ Shake. Lem and Kenny have a special meeting that goes wrong and the group enters the Subspace Highway for their longest journey yet. Some come sit awhile and listen to the tales of P3 vs. The World – Session Nine (A D&D Actual Play) !

Ep. 646 – SWAT Kats

SWAT Kats! It’s here! We know how badly you were waiting for a game about a Hanna-Barbera cartoon from 1993 that had 25 episodes on TBS. We know lots of people were looking forward to that tabletop but you, covid finds a way. So, instead we talk all things SWAT Kats! We discuss avoiding illness, taking medicine, guns, D&D and trying to not talk about D&D stories that no one else will care about. We do a pretty deep dive into the cartoon, why is was cancelled, and the game – all while finishing up with a quiz and some calls, enjoy!
