Never played this game… but with names like Sodom and Hagar, you probably pronounce Hagar as HAY-Gahr (Abraham’s love slave).
That’s a good thought. Since the arcade version of Final Fight had a stage boss named Sodom, it might make sense that there are other biblical references. Maybe even the first stage boss, Damnd could strengthen this theory.
It’s an interesting theory about the origin of Mike Haggar’s name, but remember there are two “G”s in Haggar. I think that’s a strong indicator that the first “A” is soft.
